Bucket elevator part of abrasive (steel shots, grits and cut wires) recycling system in shot blasting machine. It’s function is to lift up steel abrasives from machine chamber bottom to top. At equipment top it is connecting to transverse screw conveyor.
Steel shots fall down to hoppers at bucket elevator bottom. Steel buckets are fastened on rubber belt. And belt is fastened onto Squirrel cage ratchet at bottom and top. Motor drive belt and buckets rotate. Thus buckets will deliver steel abrasive continuously from bottom to top. At top, these buckets change their direction up to down. And steel abrasives will fall down to Abrasive separator. Empty buckets will rotate and move down for new abrasives.
Maintenance windows is available at bottom for operator to repair or replace new buckets.
